Our MISSION Statement

Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to strengthen the local church. There are three core areas which involve our mission:

1.We endeavor to pray for the Christians and for salvation of others.
1 Timothy 2:1-5 says, "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."We are exhorted to pray for others - including our country's leaders, our authorities at work and elsewhere, our church leaders, our co-workers, friends, and family.

2. We endeavor to train the Christian community how to pray effectively.
Bible teaches us that everything we do, even prayer itself, should be done "properly and according to order" (I Corinthians 14:40). Before praying, we must check ourselves in three areas: faith, obedience, and patience. First, we must trust Jesus as our personal Savior and live on the basis of our belief in Him. Obeying God is also necessary. If we willfully continue to disobey the Lord, then He is not obligated to fulfill His promise "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil" (1 Peter 3:12). Finally, patience is another requirement.Christians should pray exactly as our Lord Jesus Christ taught His Apostles to pray in the prayer He taught them, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!"

3. We endeavor to train the Christian community how to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Great Commission"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world "(Matthew 28:19-20)is the beginning of faith in action for all Christians. This command from Jesus is significant because it's a personal instruction for Christians to have a profound faith in Jesus Christ. This is an incredibly powerful statement which demands faith in Jesus Christ, validating His power in the lives of Christians and their commitment to Him. Christians should make every effort whether young or old to learn how to spread the good news of Jesus Christ in these changing times.
